Infrared saunas are known for their ability to provide a different type of heat therapy compared to traditional saunas. Benefits include:
1. Detoxification: Infrared saunas heat the body at a lower temperature than traditional saunas, allowing you to sweat more comfortably while promoting detoxification. Sweating helps release toxins stored in the body, such as heavy metals and chemicals.
2. Improved Circulation: Infrared heat stimulates blood flow, leading to better circulation throughout the body. This can enhance cardiovascular health and may help reduce blood pressure over time.
3. Pain Relief: The heat from infrared saunas can penetrate muscles and tissues, which may reduce inflammation and alleviate pain in joints, muscles, and nerves. This can be beneficial for people with conditions like arthritis or chronic pain.
4. Muscle Recovery and Relaxation: Infrared heat can help relax muscles, reduce muscle tension, and improve recovery after workouts by increasing blood flow to targeted areas.
5. Enhanced Skin Health: Infrared saunas can promote collagen production and improve skin tone by increasing blood circulation to the skin. Sweating also helps cleanse the skin, leading to a clearer and more radiant complexion.
6. Stress Relief and Improved Mood: The warmth and calming environment of an infrared sauna can help lower cortisol levels, leading to reduced stress and anxiety. Many people report feeling an elevated mood and mental clarity after a session.
7. Improved Sleep Quality: Infrared heat can promote relaxation and help balance cortisol levels, which may contribute to better sleep quality and assist in falling asleep more easily.
8. Weight Loss and Increased Metabolism: The heat from infrared saunas can slightly elevate heart rate and metabolism, similar to moderate exercise. This process can lead to burning extra calories and support weight loss efforts over time.
9. Immune System Support: The heat from infrared saunas can stimulate white blood cell production and increase circulation, which may enhance immune function and support the body’s natural defenses.
10. Reduced Inflammation: Infrared saunas can help reduce systemic inflammation by improving blood flow and helping the body release inflammatory chemicals through sweat, which may benefit those with chronic inflammatory conditions.
As with any health practice, it’s important to stay hydrated, listen to your body, and consult with a healthcare provider if you have any pre-existing conditions.
The soothing atmosphere of an infrared sauna, characterized by reduced humidity, milder heat, and gentle warmth, creates a more relaxing and stress-relieving experience compared to traditional saunas. Conversely, many individuals find it challenging to unwind in conventional saunas, a sentiment shared with steam rooms, where the intense humidity and steam can be overwhelming for some.
Furthermore, the combination of infrared light and heat in an infrared sauna prompts the release of serotonin and elevates dopamine levels in the brain. This dual effect generates a comparable endorphin rush to that experienced during exercise, fostering an overall sense of joy and happiness.

All our saunas have heaters on the front, back and side walls as well as underneath the bench and under the floor, heating your body from every direction. This heater setup surrounds your body and targets your core, rather than heating the sauna cabin air.
State-of-the-art heater technology
Not all infrared sauna heaters are the same. Carbon heaters produce high-quality, long-wave infrared heat, but the problem is they do not produce a lot of infrared heat. Ceramic heaters are powerful and emit a lot of infrared heat, but the wavelength tends to be shorter, thus less therapeutic. By combining the two technologies and materials, we allow our heaters to produce long-wave infrared heat with a very high infrared output – a healing infrared heat that is unmatched. The position of the heaters in the sauna is of great importance, ours are carefully positioned in the sauna to ensure the optimum health experience.
What is high-quality infrared?
The key thing to remember is that it is not the temperature that gives the positive health benefits, it is the wavelengths and how much infrared that is emitted and passes into the body. With our True Wave™ far infrared heaters your body readily absorbs the healthy infrared heat deep into the body. The human body absorbs the most infrared at wavelengths between 7-14 microns, which is very close to the resonant frequency of a water molecule. This similarity makes sense since our bodies are almost 70% water. Our far infrared heaters mostly produce wavelengths between 9-10 microns, allowing for performance within the vital wave range, which means maximum absorption and more health benefits for you, faster.
The therapeutic benefits of infrared heat are our main focus, the infrared heat penetrates your skin and warms your body directly.
NEAR INFRARED is the shortest wavelength and will be absorbed just below the surface of the skin creating a sweat that promotes healing and revitalisation.
MID INFRARED is a longer wavelength that can penetrate deeper into the body’s soft tissue increasing circulation and releasing oxygen to reach injured areas.
FAR INFRARED is the longest wavelength and best absorbed by our body. It penetrates the fat cells and causes the water molecules to vibrate, this in turn mobilises the toxins so that your body can expel them, resulting in the greatest levels of detoxification. Another benefit is the stimulation of your metabolism, which further aids in weight-loss and increasing your health and wellbeing.
